Evolve has successfully completed the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase and is now progressing into the staged construction of the redevelopment of Morningside Central, an operational suburban shopping centre anchored by Woolworths.

The project includes the expansion of the existing supermarket, the delivery of a new flood-immune, elevated two-level car park, a new medical centre, and the construction of a two-storey tenancy fronting Wynnum Road. The redevelopment will also transform the existing open-air centre into a fully enclosed, weather-protected mall with upgraded façades and internal circulation.

Works are being carefully planned and sequenced within a live retail environment to ensure Woolworths and surrounding tenancies remain operational, accessible, and safe throughout construction, while managing flood resilience and site constraints.

Once complete, the redevelopment will deliver a significantly enhanced retail destination, featuring improved accessibility, increased and resilient parking capacity, modernised amenities, and a more comfortable year-round shopping experience, supporting the long-term growth, activation, and resilience of the Morningside retail precinct.
