No detail was overlooked for a unique colonial-style office fitout. Handmade and custom built pieces and finishes throughout.

Evolve were engaged to provide a one-stop-shop solution from design to CDC approvals to completion of bespoke high end finishes. The client spared no expense in creating a gorgeous office with unique meeting rooms and was a delight to craft. The many features include

• Concealed drop down projectors
• Dali lighting, audio & A/C control systems
• Gallery walls with beautiful recessed display cabinets
• Feature handwoven carpet with the institution’s brand design, surrounding a Tasmanian oak parquetry floor

The stand out features of this project however, are the joinery pieces which were all custom made:

• Solid Tasmanian oak doors finished with brass hardware
• Crown-cut veneer tables
• Solid brass plaques & door knockers

Plenty of challenges were successfully met by the Evolve team:

• Custom design of the 4.5m board room tables with removable access panels & crown-cut veneer
• Slab height due to the amount of services required in the ceiling space with limited space available
• Design & construction methodology of the custom plaque in order to keep the item’s weight down
• Design and delivery of the feature handmade carpet from China
