Evolve has been engaged to deliver the extension and refurbishment of Hinkler Central Shopping Centre in Bundaberg.
The project will transform an underutilised section of the existing car park into approximately 1,000m² of new retail floor space, creating four new flexible tenancies and refurbishing two existing tenancies. The scope includes a new structural steel awning, contemporary façade upgrades, ceiling and bulkhead rectification works, a new perimeter pedestrian walkway, and the reconfiguration of car parking and vehicle access to improve customer circulation and accessibility.
Delivered within a live retail environment, the project requires careful staging and stakeholder coordination to minimise disruption while enhancing the centre’s functionality, presentation and long-term value for tenants, customers and the wider Bundaberg community.
