Evolve recently delivered the Warbu Bellmere Retail & Neighbourhood Centre, celebrating the milestone completion of the 5,300m2 neighbourhood shopping centre project.

The new centre features a full line Woolworths Supermarket with Direct to Boot pick up facilities, as well as 15 other specialty stores including a café, gym, retailers and a children’s playground. The centre also features a mural by Kabi Kabi artist, Jason Douglas, of Dalmarri Art.

Warbu Bellmere Shopping Centre was constructed to a 4-Star Green Star development rating, rated by the Green Building Council of Australia, with more than 500 solar panels that will offset 20% of the supermarkets’ electricity usage.

The project encompassed the development of a nearly 2-hectare site, featuring a substantial 3,730m2 Woolworths supermarket with a 234m2 mezzanine office space. Notably, 10% of the site was dedicated to open community space, fostering a vibrant gathering place for residents.

Additionally, 1,695m2 of specialty retail stores now offer diverse shopping options. The car park design was delivered to include shade structures and accommodates 248 spaces, alongside 8 Direct to Boot drive-through pick-up bays. Throughout construction, 2,200 cubes of concrete were utilised, incorporating polished, exposed aggregate, and standard concrete finishes.

We’re thrilled to have delivered this innovative and sustainable development to the Bellmere community.
